JVC Kenwood Launches Wood Master Earphones with Self-Healing Finish and Premium Wooden Drivers

Japanese audio brand JVC Kenwood has introduced its new premium in-ear headphones called the Wood Master, combining luxury materials with cutting-edge technology. The new earphones bring a unique mix of craftsmanship and innovation, aiming to deliver a warm, natural, and high-resolution listening experience.

One of the standout features of the JVC Kenwood Wood Master earphones is their African rosewood drivers, a material known for its rich acoustic properties. This special wood helps produce deep bass and clear high tones, offering a sound signature that feels natural and detailed. Each driver measures 10 mm, designed to handle high-resolution audio formats with ease.

Another impressive addition is the self-healing paint finish on the earphone housing. This coating can naturally repair small scratches over time, keeping the earphones looking new even after long use. It’s a subtle but premium touch that adds to the product’s overall durability and elegance.

The earphones also debut JVC’s new Spiral Dot Pro SF ear tips, an improved version of the company’s well-known Spiral Dot design. These tips help reduce unwanted sound reflections inside the ear canal, allowing for cleaner audio and better comfort during long listening sessions.

In terms of build and performance, the Wood Master earphones are expected to support Bluetooth 6.0 with multipoint connectivity, meaning they can stay connected to two devices at once. They are also rated IP55 for dust and water resistance, making them suitable for daily use and light outdoor activity.

The combination of wooden drivers, advanced acoustic tuning, and self-healing materials shows JVC Kenwood’s continued commitment to blending art with engineering. While the company has not yet revealed global pricing, the Wood Master earphones are set to go on sale in Japan starting November 20, 2025, with an international release expected later.
