Samsung has started rolling out Android Oreo 8.0 beta build for Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ smartphones in India. Samsung has said that it will end its Android Oreo beta program on January 15. According to our report, the latest beta build of Android Oreo has software version ZRA 5 and the size of the update is 593.83 MB. It brings with it the January 2018 security patch along with fixes for bugs, freezing issues, etc.
If you haven’t received OTA update on your Galaxy S8 or S8+ you can manually check for the update by visiting your Phones Setting now scroll down and tap on the About Phone now tap on the System Update to check if there is an update or not for your device.
But before you update your phone please do take backup of your phone’s data in case of any damage.
The final upgrades also include device stability improvements, improved stability for Bluetooth, and further improvements to performance.
Please do note that only FOTA (Firmware Over The Air) is supported for upgrading the latest beta software.
