Sony has started sending out beta invites for its upcoming PlayStation 4 firmware update 7.00. The upcoming firmware update 7.00 according to the beta invite code will bring some big improvements to the popular PS4 console. The new PlayStation 4 firmware update 7.00 will bring 16-player parties alongside better and improved voice chat. The new PS4 firmware update will also change the way the PS4 receives future updates. After the upcoming firmware update, 7.00 update users won’t need to restart their PS4 console after every update.

The upcoming firmware update 7.00 will also bring several performance and improvements to the console. Most importantly, the upcoming PS4 firmware update appears to be also adding a system-wide HDR tuning feature to the PlayStation console.

According to the screenshot shared by a Reddit user, the upcoming PlayStation 4 firmware update 7.00 sony is adding a new HDR tuning feature that will allow users to set a system-wide preference.

However, Sony hasn’t yet shared the actual release date for the upcoming PS4 beta firmware update 7.00.
