Earlier last week, the budget smartphone maker Realme launched the Realme X2, the slightly toned-down version of the Realme X2 Pro in India. Last month, Realme and Xu Qi Chase, Realme’s product manager posted the first Realme X50 5G teaser on its official Weibo account.

Now, Xu has shared a new teaser poster on its official Weibo account that confirms the launch date of the Realme X50 5G in China. The newly shared teaser poster confirms that the Realme X50 5G will be launched in Beijing, China on January 7.

To recall, the teaser from last month had revealed that the Realme X50 5G will come equipped with dual punch-hole selfie camera at the front. The teaser had also confirmed that the Realme X50 5G will come with support for both (SA/NSA) dual-mode 5G bands.

Notably, the Realme X50 5G was previously expected to come with a Snapdragon 735 processor, based on a 7nm process. But in a different post earlier this month Xu Qi Chase confirmed that the Realme X50 5G will be powered by a Snapdragon 765G processor.

Xu Qi also confirmed that the Realme X50 5G will be a true 5G phone and won’t be available in 4G version. The phone is expected to come with Adreno 620 GPU and will take on Xiaomi’s recently launched Redmi K30 series and Huawei Nova 6 5G.
