Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered Releases Today, Trailer, Screenshots Leaked

Yesterday, the official Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered reveal trailer leaked out on the PlayStation Germany Store. As first spotted by folks at COD Tracker, the PlayStation Germany Store leaked a lot of awaiting details about the upcoming remastered version of the 2009 blockbuster Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. The new leak reveals that the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered will release today, on March 31.

According to the report, the PlayStation Germany Store listing (which has since been removed) of the game revealed a release date of today March 31st. However, we are still waiting for an official announcement on this from Activision.

The store listing further shared a number of screenshots from Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered and details on the contents included in the Classic Ghost Bundle. The trailer showcases the campaign gameplay from Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered and at the end of it, the trailer revealed the Underwater Ghost Team Bundle pack which includes the following contents.

  • UDT Ghost Skin
  • 2 Weapon Blueprints
  • Weapon Charm
  • Execution
  • Quip
  • Animated Calling Card
  • Emblem
  • 2 Battle Pass Tier Skips

As the name suggests, the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered only includes a remastered version of the original Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 campaign missions. There is no mention in the trailer of multiplayer and cooperative modes.

Notably, the new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Campaign Remastered version will be fully remastered with improved textures, animations, physical rendering, HDR lighting, and more.
