Sony earlier today finally unveiled PlayStation 5 (PS5) Hardware and Design and one of the biggest game announcements we received during the PS5 launch will definitely make GTA fans happy. During the PS5 launch event, Sony, in collaboration with Rockstar Games announced that a new version of Grand Theft Auto V and Grand Theft Auto Online will launch on PS5 in the second half of 2021.
Grand Theft Auto V for PlayStation 5 will feature a range of technical improvements, visual upgrades and performance enhancements to take full advantage of the console’s powerful new hardware.
Sony has also announced to release a new standalone version of Grand Theft Auto Online that will be available free for three months exclusively PlayStation 5 players. However, it will require a PlayStation Plus membership to play online multiplayer.
