Xiaomi today officially announced its next Note series smartphone launch date for India. According to the official twitter post, Xiaomi will launch the new Redmi Note 9 in India on July 20 at 12pm (noon).
Xiaomi announced the Redmi Note 9 launch date by sharing a teaser image on its official Twitter account. According to the tweet, the Redmi Note 9 will come packing best in class specs and the highest quality materials.
Redmi Note 9 Features and Specifications
Since the smartphone has already been launched globally a few months back. We pretty much know every detail about the Redmi Note 9.
The phone comes features a 6.53-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,340 pixels) IPS display. The phone is powered by the octa-core MediaTek Helio G85 processor and has a quad rear camera setup including a main 48MP sensor and a 13MP hole-punch selfie shooter. Redmi Note 9 packs a 5,020mAh battery that also supports 18W fast charging.
To recall, the Redmi Note 9 launched alongside Mi Note 10 Lite and Redmi Note 9 Pro in April this year in two variants 3GB RAM + 64GB priced at $199 and 4GB RAM + 128GB for $249. However, Xiaomi hasn’t confirmed whether it will launch both variants in India or only 3GB RAM + 64GB variant.
The Redmi Note 9 also features Wi-Fi, USB Type-C port, Bluetooth, 3.5mm audio jack, NFC (select markets), infrared (IR) blaster, GPS, A-GPS, and a fingerprint sensor at the back.
