Spider-Man: Miles Morales on PS5 Will Have an Optional 4K/60fps Performance Mode

Insomniac Games has announced and confirmed that Spider-Man: Miles Morales on PS5 will have an optional 4K/60fps Performance Mode. Insomniac Games today tweeted saying ”Swing through the city like never before on PS5 with an optional 4K/60fps Performance Mode.”

As what we can understand is that you will be able to play Spider-Man: Miles Morales on PS5 with 4K resolution at 60FPS (frames-per-second) with the help of Performance Mode.

I would like to remind you here that the Marvel’s Spider-Man runs at 30 frames-per-second on PlayStation 4. So, getting 4K/60fps Performance Mode on the next-gen console should be a surprise for us.

If this really means that players will be able to play Spider-Man: Miles Morales on PS5 at native 4K and 60 FPS option then the game is really going to offer a gorgeously smooth performance on PS5.

However, some people think that this would be an option to choose between 4K or 60fps mode. Since Insomniac Games hasan’t clarified how the 4K/60fps Performance Mode will actually work on the PS5, we can’t make a decision on it.
