Samsung Galaxy S20 series including Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+, and Galaxy S20 Ultra have reportedly started receiving the latest firmware update that brings August 2020 security patch update for the three models. SamMobile reports that the latest firmware update for the Galaxy S20 series comes with firmware version G986xXXS4ATGB and holds the August security patch as the main highlight.

The latest updates for the Galaxy S20 series doesn’t appear to bring any other changes or features to the devices and only improves the system security of the device. The latest update is reportedly currently rolling out in select European countries but also expected to be available in other regions in the coming days.

It’s worth noting that Samsung Galaxy S20 users have been eagerly waiting for Samsung to roll out the One UI 2.5 to the Galaxy S20 lineup. But, unfortunately, Samsung hasn’t dropped any word and when it will finally bring the One UI 2.5 update to the Galaxy S20 series.

Meanwhile, if you own a Galaxy S20 series device and reside in any European country then you can now start downloading the latest security update on your device. You can also check for the latest software update manually on your Galaxy S20 series device by heading to the phone’s Settings » Software update menu.
