The Until Dawn creators from Supermassive Games are currently working on a previously unannounced project. Job advertisements from the British studio provide initial details.
At the end of the month, Little Hope, the second title of The Dark Pictures Anthology, will be the latest work by the Until Dawn makers of Supermassive Games.
As the studio announced last year, those responsible are internally pursuing plans for a total of eight adventures of The Dark Pictures Anthology. Current job postings show that Supermassive Games has started working on a new project behind the scenes and is looking for suitable staff.
Unfortunately, what we are dealing with here in detail is not clear from the job advertisements. However, there is talk of the as-yet-unannounced title from Supermassive Games offering an intense and varied real-time fight. It is also described that the title should also come up with melee elements, weapons and long-range combat. At the same time, developers should also work on the animations and artificial intelligence of the characters.
In addition, potential applicants should have experience with development on the PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. This suggests that the British studio will again rely on a multi-platform project for its next title. The whole thing has not yet been officially confirmed.
Especially since the internal focus of Supermassive Games is likely to be on the release of Little Hope anyway, which will be released on October 30, 2020, and therefore suitable for Halloween for the PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
