Astro’s Playroom is one of the PS5 launch games. Several videos show what the title, which is supposed to familiarize you with the functions of the DualSense, can do visually and playfully.
Buyers of the PS5 will automatically come into possession of Astro’s Playroom, because the little game is included with every copy of the console. But what figure does the adventure make on the PS5? The answer is provided by a new trailer from Sony today, as well as some gameplay videos that are available for viewing at the bottom of this news.
The visual appearance and the visible gameplay are of course only part of what awaits you with Astro’s Playroom. Because at the same time, the title should bring you closer to the features of the DualSense controller. Accordingly, the title was trimmed to the haptic feedback and the adaptive triggers.
The aim was to introduce the players to the capabilities of the new input device in a very uncomplicated way with Astro’s Playroom. For this purpose, the developers met weekly with the hardware team, where the mechanics and the gameplay ideas were discussed, as we reported last October.
The sequel to Astro Bot Rescue Mission was announced during the PlayStation 5 Showcase in June and will be released for the PlayStation 5 this November. The new console will hit the market on November 12, 2020.
