Nintendo has now confirmed that Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Boost Course Pass Wave 2 will release on August 4, but you should expect the DLC to release in waves.

The MK8D Boost Course Pass has six waves, each with eight courses. This pass includes the full version of the game as well as all of the DLC tracks. This Boost Course Pass Wave 2 adds eight new courses and two new cups to Mario Kart 8 Deluxe. This DLC update contains eight brand-new courses and two remastered tracks from earlier Mario Kart games. It will be released in waves, with each wave containing new tracks.

The next wave will arrive as early as August 4, which is still a few months away. Nintendo’s plans for this DLC is likely to be well-thought-out, and we should expect that the game will release eight new tracks over the course of 2023.

The pass is a small fee for access to each new track as it releases. The DLC also comes with online multiplayer and will include all the NES and SNES games as well as remastered versions of old favorites from the games.
