Sabotage Studio has announced that Sea of Stars: Throes of the Watchmaker, a free DLC for the acclaimed turn-based RPG, will launch on May 20, 2025, for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.
The expansion adds over 8 hours of new content, including unique areas, music, dungeons, mini-games, enemies, bosses, and puzzles. Players can explore new playable classes for protagonists Valere and Zale, alongside a new playable character, Arty, a “roguish tinkerer” with distinct abilities.
The DLC also introduces local co-op for up to three players, enhancing the adventure in the clockwork-inspired world of Horloge.
Following the base game’s 2023 success, which sold over 5 million copies, the DLC has generated buzz among fans for its expansive content. The devs have also released the Sea of Stars: Throes of the Watchmaker DLC release date trailer, which you can watch below.
