A recent Geekbench listing has confirmed that the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S25 FE, model SM-S731U, will use the Exynos 2400 chipset, dispelling rumors of a MediaTek Dimensity 9400.

The Exynos 2400, also found in the Galaxy S24 series, features a 10-core CPU and scored 2064 single-core and 6899 multi-core on Geekbench 6, matching the performance of the Galaxy S24 FE. The device will come with 8GB of RAM and run Android 16 with One UI 8.

Despite earlier speculation that Samsung might switch to the more powerful Dimensity 9400 due to Exynos production issues, this listing suggests Samsung is prioritizing its in-house chip for the S25 FE, expected to launch in September or October 2025.

The move is likely a cost-saving decision, though it may disappoint fans hoping for a performance boost.
