Konami has announced a special surprise for Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater, revealing a new mode called ‘Guy Savage’ that was created with help from PlatinumGames. This update comes as the game prepares to launch on August 28, 2025, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows PC.

The ‘Guy Savage‘ mode is a fun, dream-like sequence where a mysterious character with hook-swords battles monsters in a dark world. It was first seen in the original Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater on PlayStation 2 but was missing from later versions.

Now, it’s back in this new version, remade by PlatinumGames, the team behind popular action games like Bayonetta. Players can try this mode by saving the game at a certain point after being captured or unlock it as a bonus after finishing the story.

The mode keeps the wild spirit of the original while adding a fresh, exciting look, thanks to PlatinumGames’ skills. This addition, along with the game’s updated story about Snake’s mission during the 1960s Cold War, makes the launch even more special. If you’re a fan, get ready to explore this new twist when the game arrives next week!
