The complete list of games for Mortal Kombat Legacy Kollection was revealed during the Xbox Showcase at Gamescom 2025 in Germany. Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, Digital Eclipse, and Atari shared the details, bringing joy to fans who love the classic fighting games.
The Legacy Kollection collection will include 11 remade versions of early Mortal Kombat titles, letting players enjoy them on modern devices with updated pictures and smoother controls.
The lineup covers games from 1992 to 2003, starting with the original Mortal Kombat and going up to Mortal Kombat: Tournament Edition.
It includes popular titles like Mortal Kombat II and Mortal Kombat 3, along with rare ones such as Mortal Kombat Mythologies: Sub-Zero and Mortal Kombat Special Forces, which haven’t been easy to play for years.
A special surprise is the WaveNet version of Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3, a rare arcade edition from 1997 that lets players use Noob Saibot, making its return after being unavailable for nearly 30 years.
The collection will be available later this year on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, and Windows PC. Physical copies will ship on December 12, 2025, with pre-orders starting now.
