Hello Games has released a big new update for No Man’s Sky called Voyagers (version 6.0) on August 27, 2025. It’s free for all players on PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch. This update lets you build and customize huge spaceships called Corvettes, which you can live in and explore with friends.
What’s New in Voyagers
- Build Your Own Spaceship: You can design your own Corvette spaceship by choosing parts like hulls, wings, engines, and rooms. Pick from different styles, like the tough Titan-class, practical Thunderbird-class, or sleek Ambassador-class, to make your ship unique. You can even add windows, a kitchen, or a garden inside.
- Walk Around Your Ship: Unlike older ships, you can get up from the pilot’s seat and walk around inside your Corvette. It has real rooms like sleeping areas, medical bays, and mission centers. You can also step outside into space to float around or skydive to a planet.
- Play with Friends: Invite friends to join your ship as a crew. You can fly together, go on missions, or just hang out while exploring the universe. A new mission board in the ship helps you find fun tasks to do together.
- Corvette Expedition: A special time-limited event, called the Corvette Expedition, starts soon and runs for about six weeks. It helps you build your first Corvette faster and offers cool rewards like a new suit, a jetpack trail, a cannon for your ship, and a cute robot mouse companion.
- Better Graphics and Controls: The update improves how things look, like glass windows and lighting, especially on PC and PlayStation VR2. You can also change the game’s controls to suit how you like to play.
How to Start
You can find Corvette parts by exploring planets, fighting pirates, or checking crashed ships. Visit the Corvette Workshop on space stations to build your ship.
New players will need some time to unlock Corvettes, but experienced players can get them faster. The Corvette Expedition is a great way for everyone to try it out.
