Hyundai Launches Creta Electric, i20 & Alcazar Knight Editions in India

Hyundai Motor India Limited has launched three new Knight Edition models in India – the Creta Electric Knight, i20 Knight, and Alcazar Knight. The launch comes just in time for the festive season and follows the recent introduction of the Creta King edition.

The Knight Edition has been one of Hyundai’s most popular special ranges, selling over 77,000 units since 2022. With these new additions, the Knight family now has six models: Creta Knight, Venue Knight, Exter Knight, Creta Electric Knight, i20 Knight, and Alcazar Knight – making it one of the largest special edition lineups in the country.

Dark and Sporty Design

All Knight models share a blacked-out design theme. This includes:

  • Gloss-black alloy wheels with red brake callipers
  • Blacked-out skid plates, side sills, roof rails, and rear spoiler
  • Matte-black Hyundai logos and Knight badging
  • All-black interiors with brass highlights
  • Sporty metal pedals and a special dashboard finish

Creta Electric Knight

The Creta Electric Knight is the highlight of this launch. It comes in the Excellence variant with two battery options:

  • 42 kWh battery with 420 km certified range
  • 51.4 kWh battery with up to 510 km range

It also introduces a new Matte Black paint option. Prices for the Creta Electric Knight go up to Rs 24.54 lakh (ex-showroom).

i20 Knight

The i20 Knight is powered by a 1.2-litre Kappa petrol engine. It is available in Sportz (O) MT and Asta (O) IVT trims. Along with the Knight features, the i20 range now also gets:

  • A new sporty rear spoiler
  • Dashcam in Asta O IVT and i20 N Line N8
  • Wireless Android Auto/Apple CarPlay via an adapter
  • The i20 Knight starts from Rs 9.14 lakh (ex-showroom).

Alcazar Knight

The Alcazar Knight comes with two automatic engine options:

  • 1.5-litre turbo-petrol with 7-speed DCT
  • 1.5-litre diesel (U2 CRDi) with 6-speed AT

It is available in the Signature seven-seat trim and also gets the Matte Black shade. The Alcazar range also benefits from new features like a dashcam in the Signature variants.

Prices and Availability

  • i20 Knight Sportz (O) MT – starts at Rs 9.14 lakh
  • Creta Electric Knight LR with home charger – goes up to Rs 24.54 lakh

With the launch of these new models, Hyundai aims to further strengthen the Knight lineup, giving customers more stylish and feature-packed options this festive season.
