Nvidia on Tuesday released the latest GeForce game ready driver for its range of Nvidia graphics cards. The latest driver update according to its patch notes brings support for the Halo: Reach for improved graphics and optimum game performance. I would like to remind that, Halo: Reach is one of the games included in the Halo: The Master Chief Collection.
To recall, Halo: The Master Chief Collection (“MCC”) launched back in 2014, but the collection was only available to Xbox One. The collection includes six remastered versions of the Halo games including Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, Halo 2: Anniversary, Halo 3, the Halo 3: ODST Campaign and Halo 4.
Notably, the Halo: Reach will be out on December 3 being the first title from the collection to be available on Windows 10 PC via Steam and Windows store.
If you have your Nvidia GeForce Experience software installed on your PC then you can simply head to the Drivers tab to check and download the latest driver. You can also visit the driver page to download the latest driver.
Quake II RTX 1.2.0 Update
Nvidia alongside the latest GeForce game ready driver also released the Quake II RTX v1.2 update. Nvidia says that the latest Quake II RTX v1.2 update will further improve graphical fidelity and gaming performance.
The Quake II RTX v1.2 update also adds new configuration options and updates over 400 textures to brings improvements to image quality and rendering of metals. Nvidia also shared a number of screenshots to show the improved rendering and image quality in the game.
To recall, Nvidia released Quake II RTX remaster with Nvidia’s real-time ray-tracing support this year in June. Notably, Quake II RTX is the remastered version of the original 1997 classic Quake II game.
Quake II RTX Remaster With Nvidia Real-Time Ray-Tracing Support is available for players to download with the first three levels of the game for free via the Steam.
If you already have the Quake II RTX installed on you PC then your download for the Quake II RTX v1.2 update will automatically start.
