Tesla is making big changes to its deals for the Model S, Model X, Model 3, and Model Y as the $7,500 US tax help for electric vehicles is set to end on September 30, 2025. With just over six weeks left, the company is rolling out new offers to encourage buyers before the deadline. Here’s what’s happening with prices and incentives.
Tesla is offering a $7,500 discount if you lease any new model, but you must take delivery by the end of September. They’re also giving $1,000 off to groups like military members, first responders, teachers, and students.
Every new car comes with a free one-month trial of the Full Self-Driving feature, and if you already have it on another Tesla, you can move it to your new one for free. Plus, you get a free trial of Premium Connectivity—30 days for Model 3 and Y, and a year for Model S, X, and Cybertruck.
For the Model Y, you can lease it starting at $349 a month for 24 months or $399 a month for 36 months with $3,000 down, and cash buyers get 18 months of free charging. It also qualifies for the $7,500 tax credit at purchase if delivered by September 30.
The Model 3 offers a lease starting at $299 a month for 24 months or $349 a month for 36 months with $3,000 down, plus 0% interest if you add Full Self-Driving, or 2.49% without.
Model X and S come with a free upgrade and a year of Premium Connectivity, while the Cybertruck includes a free $3,500 wheel upgrade on leases and 0% interest with Full Self-Driving.
These deals are Tesla’s way to boost sales before the tax help ends, as the US market might get tougher without it. Some people online are rushing to buy now to save money, while others worry prices will jump after September. Tesla says these offers won’t last, so they’re pushing buyers to order soon.
