Google via its official blog post announced that Google Stadia Pro will now be free for two months in the 14 countries. The free version of Stadia Pro will be free starting today and will be rolling out for everyone over the next 48 hours.
9 Free Games When You Sign Up for Stadia Pro During Free Period
To get your free Stadia Pro access, users will need to sign up for the Stadia account using their Gmail ID. Google also notes that users who sign up for the Stadia Pro during the free period will get instant access to nine games, including GRID, Destiny 2: The Collection, and Thumper.
However, users will also be able to purchase more games from the Stadia store if they want. Notably, the games you will purchase will remain yours even if you cancel the Stadia Pro subscription. Also, if you are already a Stadia Pro subscriber then you won’t be charged for the next two months.

Google Stadia Pro service originally costs $9.99 a month. But if you have signed up for the free period and don’t want to continue after two months, then you can also opt-out of your subscription at any time.
Notably, Google with its free Stadia Pro offering also taking care of the internet bandwidth speed, so everyone can get easy access to the internet during this lockdown. Google says that, for Stadia, ”we’ve always adjusted bandwidth use based on a variety of in-home and local internet factors.”
Now to bring this further, Google is working toward a temporary feature that changes the default screen resolution from 4k at 60fps to 1080p. However, Google also says that people on a desktop or laptop won’t notice a significant drop in gameplay quality. But they can choose their data usage options in the Stadia app.

- Go to Stadia.com to sign up
- Download the Stadia app on Android or iOS devices if you want to play it on your phone or table
- Play on your laptop, desktop or Chrome OS tablet with your favorite (HID compliant) USB supported controller or mouse and keyboard
- Play over Wi-Fi on Pixel or many supported Android phones
