Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy A72 4G is expected to be launch soon and today we got the first details about the processor of the device. A new Geekbench listing of Galaxy A72 4G has just been spotted on the benchmarking site with the model number SM-A725F. The fresh listing of the Galaxy A72 4G on the Geekbench suggests that the phone could come powered by the Snapdragon 720G SoC.

To, recall, a Geekbench listing last week revealed the same Snapdragon 720G processor for the upcoming Galaxy A52 4G smartphone, which is expected to launch alongside. The Geekbench listing further reveals the Galaxy A72 4G to come with 8GB of RAM running on Android 11.

As for the test scores, the Galaxy A72 4G gets a single-core test score of 526 and a multi-core test score of 1,623 and is listed with a Qualcomm processor codenamed ‘atoll’, which is associated with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G SoC.

The specs of both the Galaxy A52 4G and the Galaxy A72 4G are quite similar. Both the phones appear on the Geekbench with 8GB of RAM and Android 11. The Galaxy A52 4G appeared on the listing with model number SM-A525F with a single-core score of 554 and a multi-core score of 1,689. We expect the two devices to come as an affordable device which could be priced somewhere between 20K to 30K price tag.
