A new leak about the DJI Mini 5 Pro drone has surfaced, highlighting exciting upgrades like improved tracking features and advanced video transmission. Shared by drone expert Igor Bogdanov on social media, the leak shows official-looking images and details that suggest the Mini 5 Pro will build on the success of the Mini 4 Pro, making it even better for capturing smooth videos and photos.

The DJI Mini 5 Pro is rumored to feature an enhanced ActiveTrack system, which helps the drone follow people or objects automatically while avoiding obstacles. This version is said to be smarter, with better detection of subjects in crowded or complex environments, allowing for more precise and safe flights.

It’s perfect for creators who want to film action shots without manually controlling the drone every second.

Another big tease is the OcuSync 4 Plus technology, which improves how the drone sends video to your controller or phone. This means clearer, more stable live feeds over longer distances, up to 20 kilometers in ideal conditions, with less lag and interference.

It supports higher-quality video streams, like 1080p at 60 frames per second, making it easier to see exactly what the drone’s camera captures in real time.

The leak also confirms the Mini 5 Pro’s 1-inch camera sensor, which can record 4K videos at 120 frames per second for slow-motion effects. The drone keeps its lightweight design under 250 grams, so it’s easy to fly in many places without extra rules.

It includes LiDAR sensors for better obstacle avoidance in all directions, even in low light, and a gimbal that tilts 225 degrees for vertical video shots, great for social media.

These features position the Mini 5 Pro as a top choice for hobbyists and professionals who want high-quality footage without a bulky drone.

The leak aligns with earlier rumors, and DJI is expected to officially announce the Mini 5 Pro soon, possibly on September 16, 2025, alongside new Fly More Combo packages.

Drone enthusiasts are buzzing about these improvements, as they could make the Mini 5 Pro a must-have for portable aerial filming. More details are likely to come in the coming days as the launch approaches.
