The successor to the OnePlus Nord 5 may be arriving sooner than expected. According to recent leaks, the upcoming OnePlus Nord 6 is likely to launch in early April, bringing several hardware upgrades over the previous generation.
While OnePlus has not officially confirmed the device yet, the smartphone has already appeared on multiple certification platforms, suggesting that a global launch could be approaching.
Launch Expected in Early April
The information comes from well-known tipster Yogesh Brar, who shared the possible launch timeline on the social media platform X. According to the leak, the Nord 6 may debut in early April and could share many specifications with the recently released OnePlus Turbo 6, which launched earlier in China.
If the two devices share similar hardware, the Nord 6 could bring several high-end features to the mid-range segment.
Display and Processor Details
The OnePlus Turbo 6 features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate, and the Nord 6 is expected to follow a similar setup.
Under the hood, the device is rumoured to use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 processor. Earlier reports indicated that the Nord 6 appeared on Geekbench with the same chipset, delivering a 26 percent higher multi-core CPU score compared to the Nord 5.
This upgrade could result in significantly improved performance for gaming and multitasking.
Camera and Battery Expectations
The OnePlus Turbo 6 includes a 50MP rear camera and a 16MP front-facing camera, which could also appear on the Nord 6.
One of the standout features of the Turbo 6 is its massive 9,000mAh battery with 80W fast charging support. For comparison, even the flagship OnePlus 15 comes with a smaller 7,300mAh battery.
However, it is still unclear whether the global Nord 6 will include the same battery capacity or if OnePlus will use a slightly smaller battery for international markets.

The tipster also hinted that the Nord 6 could launch at a higher price than its predecessor, though the exact pricing details have not been revealed yet.
