Segway has launched its fastest electric scooter yet—the GT3 Pro SuperScooter—bringing a thrilling new ride to the streets. Unveiled at CES 2025 and now available starting August 12, 2025, this scooter promises a top speed of 50 mph and the ability to handle rough terrain.

Segway Unveils GT3 Pro SuperScooter Features

The GT3 Pro is powered by two motors, each delivering 3,500 watts, for a total of 7,000 watts. This lets it zoom from 0 to 30 mph in just 3.9 seconds when using its special Ultra Boost mode.

It can go up to 86 miles on a single charge if you ride at a steady 15.5 mph, though that drops to 34 miles at full speed. The scooter uses a new 72-volt system and a big 2,160Wh battery to keep it running strong.

Built for more than just city roads, the GT3 Pro has a 5.7-inch ground clearance and 11-inch wide, self-sealing tires that can handle bumps and small punctures. Adjustable hydraulic shocks in the front and rear smooth out rough paths, while strong brakes with anti-slip features help you stop safely. It can even climb slopes up to 38%, making it great for hills or trails.

The scooter comes with smart extras like a colorful 2.4-inch screen showing speed, map directions, and call alerts. It has automatic headlights that adjust to light or speed, plus turn signals and brake lights for safety.

You can unlock it hands-free with a feature called AirLock and track it using Apple’s Find My app. The Segway app lets you tweak settings, and it’s built to handle water splashes with an IPX6 rating.

Price and Availability

Weighing 117 pounds, it can carry up to 330 pounds, perfect for most riders and their gear. Priced at $2,699.99 in the US (or $3,999.99 in Canada), it’s available on Segway’s website and through dealers.

Segway says this is the top of the line for electric scooters, blending speed, toughness, and smart features. If you love a fast ride or off-road adventures, check store.segway.com for more details.
