Team Asobi is kicking off 2025 with a free update for Astro Bot, bringing five new levels and Special Bots to rescue, along with a Time Attack mode with online rankings. The update starts rolling out today and introduces the Vicious Void Galaxy, a set of challenging levels designed to put players’ platforming skills to the test.
The five levels will be released weekly, following this schedule:
- Feb 13 – Tick-Tock Shock
- Feb 20 – Thrust or Bust
- Feb 27 – Cock-A-Doodle-Doom
- Mar 6 – Hard to Bear
- Mar 13 – Armored Hardcore
Each level includes a Special Bot to rescue and can be replayed in Time Attack mode, where players can compete for top spots in online leaderboards. Players must have completed the main game to access the new content.
Additionally, PS5 Pro owners will experience an enhanced version of Astro Bot, running at higher resolutions while maintaining 60 FPS.
This update follows Astro Bot’s successful launch last year, where it received multiple awards and praise from fans. Team Asobi expressed gratitude for the support and hopes players enjoy the new challenges.
