Sony has announced the PlayStation Plus Monthly Games lineup for April 2025, granting subscribers an amazing mix of action, horror, and adventure. From April 1, PlayStation Plus members on all levels—Essential, Extra, and Premium—can redeem three varied titles: *RoboCop: Rogue City, The Texas Chain Saw Massacre, and Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth – Hacker’s Memory.
These titles will be available to download until May 5, 2025, providing players with enough time to immerse themselves in these one-of-a-kind experiences.
Leading the pack is RoboCop: Rogue City, a first-person shooter exclusive to PS5. Set in the crime-infested streets of Old Detroit, players step into the metallic boots of the iconic half-man, half-machine hero, Alex Murphy.
Armed with the powerful Auto-9 and a variety of upgradeable weapons, you’ll tackle criminals in an explosive adventure that blends action with open-ended objectives.
The game, the gameplay of which was lauded for its true homage to the ’80s classic, even has the original RoboCop actor Peter Weller returning to play the voice of the cybernetic lawman.
For horror fans looking for a fix, The Texas Chain Saw Massacre brings asymmetrical multiplayer horror to PS4 and PS5. This game is based on the 1974 cult classic film and sees players taking on the role of either the nefarious Slaughter Family or their desperate prey.
Survivors will have to use stealth and cunning to escape, while the killers stalk them down in a gripping, blood-soaked confrontation. It’s a frightening experience that puts your survival skills—or your fear-instilling prowess—to the test.
Completing the roster is Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth – Hacker’s Memory, playable on PS4 through PS5 backward compatibility. This RPG stars Keisuke Amazawa, a man who was wrongly accused of a crime, as he travels into the Digital World to prove his innocence.
Partnering with a team of hackers, players will discover a dark, sinister story linked to the first Cyber Sleuth game. With more than 320 Digimon to catch and fight, it’s a digital deep dive that satisfies both storytelling and monster-raising gameplay.
These titles arrive in the PlayStation Plus library on April 1, bringing something for any gamer. As a reminder, subscribers have through March 31, 2025, to redeem the current month’s games—Dragon Age: The Veilguard, Sonic Colors: Ultimate, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection—before they cycle out. With this diverse April lineup, PlayStation Plus continues to bring value and diversity to its users.
