Huawei has released a new update for the Honor View 10 users in India. The latest update for the phone comes with version number 10.0.0175 and weighs in around 725 MB in size. Notably, the latest Honor View 10 update adds long-awaited VoWiFi (WiFi calling) support for certain carriers in India and also the April security update.
The latest update for the Honor View 10 also brings along Huawei Assistant along with Huawei Location Services and Smart Charging feature to the device.
However, the changelog of the latest update doesn’t add up the Huawei Assistant and Smart Charging feature. But the two features can be found under Settings > Battery > More battery settings > Smart Charge.

Notably, the Smart Charging description says that the feature using the phone’s built-in AI capabilities learns and adapts to the user’s charging routine. This helps in slowing down the battery charging to 100% as per the usage.
The Smart Charging feature, in other words, will prevent your phone’s battery to complete a full charging cycle. For example, this will slow down the charging once it reaches 70% or 80% to delay charging to your device 100% until needed.
