Publisher Square Enix and developers Crystal Dynamics have announced that Spider-Man will be exclusively available to PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 versions of Marvel’s Avengers as a free post-launch DLC character in early 2021.
The thing you should note is that the Spider-Man will be available at no additional cost to owners of the base game, exclusively on PlayStation.
Crystal Dynamics made the announcement through the official PlayStation Blog. Now, this would be the second additional characters after ‘Hawkeye’ coming to the Marvel’s Avengers game.
During the War Table broadcast last week, Crystal Dynamics announced that Hawkeye will come to the game as the first post-launch Marvel’s Avengers character with a unique set of story missions. However, Hawkeye won’t be exclusive to a specific platform.

Marvel’s Avengers will release on September 4, 2020, for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Google Stadia. For the Christmas season, a PlayStation 5 and an Xbox Series X version will also be released.
