Seems like Realme, the Chinese OME is preparing for a big surprise for its users. Yes, a new Realme device which appears to be the company’s next flagship device has appeared online with the name Realme “Race” and model number RMX2202. As first reported by folks at GSMArena through one of their reliable sources, the leaked Realme Race screenshots revealed a number of key details about the device as well the design of the upcoming device.

The screenshot shows that the Realme Race will be powered by Qualcomm’s newly announced Snapdragon 888 5G SoC. This will make the Realme Race one of the first smartphones to come with the Snapdragon 888 SoC.

The screenshot further shows that the Realme Race phone will come with 12GB of RAM and 256GB storage and runs Android 11 with Realme UI 2.0 on top. Going by the second screenshot which the design of the phone itself, the upcoming Realme Race smartphone appears to have a quad rear camera setup with a round “Oreo” style bump. However, the camera configuration isn’t yet known.

Notably, in a recent tweet later today, Ream’s CEO Madhav Sheth tweeted “Qualcomm 8__” followed by another tweet which reads as:

December is finally here! This month is about so many special things, isn’t it? We want to make it more special for you! RT and reply guessing upcoming #realme surprise for you.

Both the tweets from Sheth clearly hint toward a new surprise which could be announced in December this month. I think we are likely to get some new details or maybe the official announcement of Realme’s upcoming flagship phone this month in December.
