Square Enix has delayed their upcoming RPG Forspoken by several months. Originally set to release in May, the game has now been delayed until October 11th. The delay is likely due to a variety of factors. The developers are working to make the game viable for several years. This means that the team is aiming to launch it at a stage where the game has enough time to build a long tail.
While Square Enix had previously insisted that Forspoken would be released in May of this year, the rough gameplay previews have shown that the game needs a little more time in development. So, the developers have decided to push the game back to Q4 of 2022.

It is unknown if this will affect the PlayStation 5 version of the game. The delayed date is not the only thing that gamers will be disappointed with.
