Deathloop, an action game developed by Arkanes, is reportedly coming to Xbox Game Pass. The game is currently available on PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam.
It’s not yet clear when the title will become an Xbox Game Pass exclusive, but multiple fans have discovered its Xbox store listing. Though it isn’t live yet, the listing does indicate that Xbox is setting up the game for purchase, and an official announcement should be coming soon. Xbox will need to announce the game before the end of the PS5 exclusivity period.
The game is a pseudo-roguelike developed by Arkane Studios. It’s a sandbox style game, where you take control of an assassin named Colt. The goal of the game is to kill as many targets as possible within a loop. As you progress through the game, you will encounter rival assassin Juliana Blake and hordes of armed psychos chasing you.
Deathloop has already received critical acclaim for its innovative time mechanics. Players are tasked with killing eight Visionaries before midnight, or their time loop will be reset. To accomplish this task, the player must use a variety of skills, weapons, gadgets, and powers. The game’s gameplay takes inspiration from Arkane’s previous games such as Dishonored and Prey.
