Grand Theft Auto VI

Rockstar Games has officially released Trailer 2 for Grand Theft Auto VI, giving fans another electrifying glimpse into the most anticipated open-world game of the decade. The new footage offers expanded insight into the game’s story, characters, and updated visuals—solidifying the hype leading into its 2025 launch.

As confirmed in the first trailer, GTA 6 returns to a modernized version of Vice City, inspired by Miami’s culture and nightlife. Trailer 2 doubles down on that setting, showcasing new neighborhoods, swampland hideouts, and even more of the neon-soaked downtown area.

The spotlight once again shines on Lucia, the franchise’s first female protagonist. This time, we see more of her unnamed male partner, hinting at a Bonnie-and-Clyde-style narrative that seems to blend chaotic heists with deeper personal stakes. Earlier leaks had revealed that GTA 6 will have advanced water physics and surfing for the first time.

The trailer includes scenes of car chases, intense shootouts, and a dramatic prison escape—all accompanied by high-octane music and Rockstar’s signature cinematic editing.

Fans got their first look at new vehicle types including airboats, modern sports cars, and a possible vehicle customization system reminiscent of GTA Online. A quick montage also teased dynamic weather, updated crowd AI, and even new interaction systems with NPCs—suggesting Rockstar is pushing immersion to new levels.

Release Date Confirmed: May 26, 2026

After years of speculation, Rockstar has confirmed that Grand Theft Auto VI will now officially launch on May 26, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. A PC version has yet to be announced, continuing Rockstar’s usual staggered release pattern.
