Sony Interactive Entertainment has announced four new games as part of its PlayStation MENA Hero Project, a plan to support creators from the Middle East and North Africa. The titles are Red Bandits, Enci’s Solution, The Perfect Run, and A Cat’s Manor, each developed by studios in different countries across the region. These games will be available on PlayStation 5 and Windows PC, showcasing unique stories from local talent.

Red Bandits, created by Team Agenda in Saudi Arabia, follows Stutt, an older thief with a stuttering problem and a forgotten past, as he leads a group to fight against a powerful company that controls everything.

Enci’s Solution, from Dark Emerald Studios in the United Arab Emirates, tells the story of Ji’we, a young character who leaves his underground home to save a friend, teaming up with a lost robot named Enci.

The Perfect Run, made by Lanterns Studios in Tunisia, lets players control Quicksave, a hero who can travel back in time to save or destroy a city called New Rome.

Lastly, A Cat’s Manor, developed by Happiest Dark Corner in Bahrain, follows a cat with no memory who wakes up in a spider-filled house and must solve puzzles to escape.

This project aims to help new game makers share their ideas with the world, building on similar efforts in India and China.

The games highlight the creativity of the region, with each story reflecting the culture and imagination of its creators.
