Redmi K90 Pro Max Design and Release Date Officially Revealed

Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi has pulled back the curtain on its latest high-end phone, the K90 Pro Max, sharing its stylish design and confirming a launch date in China next week. The device, the first in Redmi’s K series to carry the “Pro Max” name, promises top performance and unique features like speakers tuned by Bose, all at an affordable price.

Redmi announced that the phone will debut on October 23 in China, with the standard K90 expected to join it at the same event. The company shared official images highlighting the K90 Pro Max in two eye-catching colors: a flowing gold white finish and a textured denim blue option.

The white version shows off a sleek back with a large rectangular camera bump that looks like a volcanic crater, complete with rounded corners for a comfortable grip. The front features a flat screen with super-thin edges and a small hole at the top for the front camera.

One standout detail is the “Sound by Bose” label next to the camera area, marking the first time Redmi has teamed up with the audio company.

This means the phone’s built-in speaker should deliver clearer and richer sound for music, calls, and videos. The rear camera setup includes three lenses in a circular arrangement, with a special periscope telephoto lens for zooming in on faraway shots without losing quality.

While full specs are still under wraps, leaks suggest the K90 Pro Max will run on Qualcomm’s powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chip for smooth multitasking and gaming.

It could have a bright 6.59-inch OLED screen with sharp 2K resolution, a massive 7,500mAh battery for days of use, and fast 100W wired charging plus 50W wireless. The phone is built tough with water and dust protection up to IP68 standards and a fingerprint scanner under the screen.

Redmi aims to price the K90 series around 4,000 Chinese yuan, or about $560, making it a strong value in the premium phone market. Globally, it might rebrand as the Poco F8 Ultra, following Xiaomi’s pattern of adapting devices for different regions.
