Leaker Says Next Resident Evil Remakes Are Code Veronica in 2027 and Zero in 2028

A trusted Resident Evil insider known as Dusk Golem has shared fresh details on Capcom’s plans for more remakes. According to him, the next big ones will be Resident Evil: Code Veronica, set for release in 2027, and Resident Evil Zero following in 2028.

Dusk Golem, who has a strong track record with Resident Evil leaks like Leon’s role in the upcoming Requiem, posted on X: “What I’ve heard is Resident Evil: Code Veronica Remake should be announced next year, and release in 2027, then Zero Remake releasing the following year in 2028.” He added that Code Veronica might spotlight Claire Redfield more, with Chris still playing a key part.

Fans have wanted full remakes of these classics for years. Code Veronica launched in 2000 on Dreamcast and later consoles, while Zero hit in 2002 as a prequel to the first game. Both got HD updates in the 2010s, but fans crave modern overhauls like Resident Evil 2 and 4 remakes.

This lines up after Resident Evil Requiem, due February 27, 2026. It could mean a Resident Evil game every year or so, keeping the series hot.

Capcom has not commented. Dusk Golem noted he’ll update if plans shift. Sites like Wccftech, Insider Gaming, and My Nintendo News picked it up quick.

If true, get ready for more zombie-slaying action. Keep watching Capcom events for official word.
