OnePlus has launched OxygenOS 15, based on Android 15, featuring enhanced AI capabilities and a completely revamped design. Initially available as an open beta for the OnePlus 12, this update introduces numerous productivity and photography-focused AI tools, including AI Unblur, AI Reflection Eraser, and AI Detail Boost, which improve image clarity and detail. For messaging, AI Reply suggests responses based on the context, enhancing communication efficiency.
The OS’s redesigned interface includes smoother animations, cleaner iconography, and customizable lock screens with various new clock styles. The Intelligent Search feature allows users to perform comprehensive searches across device content, even offline, enhancing accessibility and productivity.
Quick settings have also been redesigned, with a cleaner look and refined curves, echoing a streamlined, minimalist aesthetic similar to Apple’s iOS 18.
OxygenOS 15 integrates Android 15-specific features, such as Google Circle to Search, Gemini Live, and enhanced theft protection, making this release a significant step in refining the user experience.
The new OS is expected to make everyday tasks more fluid and intuitive, aligning with OnePlus’s goal to offer a smarter, more adaptable interface for users globally.
