Xiaomi back in April last year launched its first Black Shark Gaming Smartphone in China with whopping 8GB RAM, running on Snapdragon 845 SoC. Soon after its launch, we started hearing about a new possible black share smartphone to be in work. We also got some recent leak of the upcoming gaming phone. Today, Xiaomi officially announced the launch date of its second gaming smartphone called the Black Shark 2 by sharing a new launch poster. The poster revealed that the Xiaomi Black Shark 2 smartphone will be launched in China on March 18, 2019.
Similar to the regular Black Shark 1, the upcoming Black Shark 2 is expected to come with upgraded hardware and specs, including a Snapdragon 855 SoC, up to 12GB RAM and this time the gaming phone is also expected to come with Liquid Cool 3.0 technology.
The Black Shark 2 is also expected to be running on Android 9 Pie out of the box and it may be available also in more than one RAM and storage options.
At this point, we are not sure about the full specifications of the Black Shark 2 phone, but it is certainly going to be a heavy gaming device that Xiaomi would have ever made.
