Apple has unveiled its latest Mac mini featuring the new M4 and M4 Pro chips, boosting performance and efficiency while making strides in environmental sustainability. This updated compact desktop is Appleās first carbon-neutral Mac, integrating 100% recycled aluminum, gold, and rare earth elements into its design.
Apple’s latest Mac mini redefines compact power, packing M4 and M4 Pro chips into an even smaller 5×5-inch frame designed specifically for Apple silicon.
This upgrade brings major performance gains: the M4 model is up to 1.8 times faster in CPU tasks and 2.2 times faster in GPU performance compared to the M1, while the M4 Pro significantly scales capabilities to handle intensive workloads.
The design now includes both front and back ports for improved connectivity, with Thunderbolt 5 on the M4 Pro, enabling ultra-fast data transfers.
As the first Mac built for Apple Intelligence, the Mac mini leverages AI-driven features that enhance productivity and communication with user privacy in mind.
Environmental sustainability is also central to this release, marking Appleās first carbon-neutral Mac. With an over 80% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions across its life cycle, the Mac mini is crafted from recycled aluminum, gold, and rare earth elements, and uses renewable energy in production and eco-friendly shipping options.

The M4 Mac mini price starts at $599 with 16GB of memory and is now available for preorder, it will finally be available for sale starting November 8.
